Temporary Service Change for Garden City Riders
Starting June 15 and lasting through July 5, Valley Metro bus service in the Garden City neighborhood will be temporarily modified due to construction at the Riverland Road and Garden City Boulevard intersection. Because this key intersection will be closed during that period, traditional fixed-route service will not be able to operate in the area.
To make sure Garden City riders have transportation options, Valley Metro will continue to provide transportation through the duration of the closure. Instead of the regular bus, riders can contact Valley Metro directly to arrange a ride with one of our transit supervisors. This flexible service is designed to keep you connected to the places you need to go while the important intersection work is completed.
If you live or travel in the Garden City area and need to arrange a ride between June 15 and July 5, please contact Valley Metro at 540-982-2222 (option 41) regarding your trip. Riders boarding at Third Street Station can speak with the driver of Bus 41 or a transit supervisor to arrange a ride. We appreciate your patience during this construction period and look forward to resuming regular service on July 6.
